Blog comment spam gets even smarter day by day. Today I got an email from Mike Blumenthals of Local Search blog who was letting me know that my comment at his blog was approved but he was surprised to see my anchor text which was obviously keyword-stuffed.

I was very much surprised to see that email, as I never commented at that post and obviously I’d never use that anchor text.

I also noticed the comments using my Gavatar photo and keyword-stuffed links in SEJ dashboard.

So, people, if you see comments like above which seemed to be from me, that should be a spammer who used my Gavatar email ID to hijack my Gavatar. If you see something like that, please let me know.

Unfortunately, I am not attending IM Spring Break (my daughter is only 2 months old and I can’t leave her even for a minute) but a good friend of mine really wants to go – so this post is for her!

As I am not going to the event, I can’t participate in the contest – so I am writing this post so that Aly had a pingback from me!

So this new tiny blog of mine will consist of very short posts: daily finds, short ramblings and personal news. I browse the Internet a lot and constantly spot something worth sharing – anything from awesome images to cool tools and collections. Normally I would post these things to my friends via IM or Facebook and now I will also share these finds here.

I don’t guarantee I will update it daily but I do want to make it really useful and entertaining. It is quite probable, this will soon evolve into something bigger and more focused but for now I don’t feel like starting another marketing site – I want to just have fun and enjoy blogging…

I decided to keep this domain for myself and as far as I hate neglected domains I have started another blog here.

So what do you guys think I should post here? I am already posting SEO tips at SEJ and Internet marketing ramblings at SEOsmarty.com. So what should go here? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!
